Yolo County, California (May 24, 2023) – One person is dead following a car crash that happened on Wednesday morning near Woodland in Yolo County.
At around 6 a.m., the California Highway Patrol dispatch received reports of a car crash on Old River Road near County Road 119.
Two vehicles, possibly a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a white sedan, are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
One other person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
