Yuba City, CA. – One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a car accident that happened near Yuba City on Sunday evening.
At around 6:41 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Highway 113 near Leiser Road.
A man was driving a car northbound and was trying to pass another car when he collided head-on with another car.
The unidentified man was killed in the accident.
The female driver of the southbound car suffered major injuries including a compound fracture to the right leg and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
