Driver Killed, Another Hospitalized after Collision on Highway 4 in Antioch

1 Killed,1 Injured in Antioch Car Crash on Highway 4 in Antioch
Antioch, California – A driver died and another was hospitalized following a two-car collision early Sunday morning in Antioch.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Highway 4 near A Street at around 5:13 a.m.
A gray Honda CRV was traveling eastbound when it became disabled in the fourth lane for unknown reasons.
A blue Ford F-150 was also traveling eastbound on the same lane when it slammed into the disabled Honda.
The Honda burst into flames and the driver was trapped inside.
Sadly, the driver of the Honda succumbed to injuries at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
Alcohol and drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
