1 Person Dies in Charter Oak Car Crash at Sunflower Ave and Badillo St
Los Angeles County, California – One person died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon near an intersection in Charter Oak, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP officers received reports of the collision just after 1 p.m. near North Sunflower Avenue and East Badillo Street.
Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene and found a black Mercedes-Benz and a Ford Fusion involved in the collision, with several parties trapped.
The firefighters extricated the parties and administered CPR on one unresponsive person.
The report said one person died in the crash.
Another victim sustained unspecified injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away with crash damage.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
