1 Person Extricated After Sonora Car Accident on SR-108
Sonora, California: One person was trapped inside a vehicle after a multi-car pileup that happened Wednesday afternoon in Sonora.
First responders arriving at the scene on State Route 108 at Lime Kiln Road found a Chevrolet Silverado 2500, a GMC Canyon and a third vehicle involved in the accident. The two trucks had major front-end damage.
The vehicles collided at around 2:27 p.m. for an unknown reason, leaving one person trapped.
Firefighters freed the victim shortly after arrival.
The report said at least one person was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Officers are investigating the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
