1 Injured After Malibu Car Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
Malibu, California – One individual was flown to the hospital after a traffic collision on Thursday afternoon in Malibu, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The crash happened a while before 5:00 p.m. on westbound Pacific Coast Highway near Latigo Shore.
Police said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The two cars were found off the highway on a hillside.
Emergency crews and medical personnel arrived at the crash site. One of the drivers was pinned inside one of the cars. They were extricated and was transported near Pepperdine University where a LACFD helicopter flew them to the hospital.
The patient’s condition remained unknown.
An investigation is ongoing.
