1 Person Killed in Car Accident on SR-163 in Miramar
Miramar, California: One person died in a two-vehicle collision that took place Monday evening in Miramar, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported around 6 p.m. on Kearny Villa Road near southbound State Route 163.
Two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. A traffic light was hit during the collision.
San Diego Police officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person was taken to the hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
Authorities closed southbound SR-163 north of Kearny Villa Road on-ramp following the accident
