Chico, California – One person sustained major injuries in a car accident on Tuesday evening in Chico.
The accident happened on Highway 99 near Durham Pentz Road at around 5:48 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two cars were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
CHP says one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
