1 Seriously Injured in Fiery Crash in Wheatland
Wheatland, California: At least one person was severely injured in a fiery multi-car accident that happened Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Wheatland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported just before 5 p.m. at Forty Mile Road and Dairy Road.
Three vehicles, including a gold Dodge minivan and a blue Ford Fiesta, were involved in the crash. The minivan caught fire after the accident.
Yuba County sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to the scene.
At least one person was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
Several traffic lanes in the area were shut down following the collision.
