1 Seriously Injured in Fresno Car Crash at McKinley Avenue and Hayes Avenue
Fresno, California – A driver was seriously injured after colliding with a school bus full of students on Tuesday afternoon in Fresno.
The collision happened around 2:30 p.m. in the area of McKinley Avenue and Hayes Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A school bus from the Central Unified School District with 26 students on board was traveling eastbound on McKinley Avenue when it collided with a white SUV traveling northbound on Hayes Avenue.
A third vehicle traveling westbound on McKinley was also involved in the accident.
The SUV driver suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
