San Luis Obispo, California (May 9, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major two-vehicle collision that severely injured at least one person on Monday evening in San Luis Obispo.
The collision occurred at about 7:03 p.m. on May 8 on Higuera Street near Clover Ridge Road.
Police said a black BMW sedan and a Chevrolet SUV crashed for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews and medics rushed to the scene to aid the crash victims. At least one person suffered severe injuries from the collision. The patient was hospitalized for treatment.
