1 Severely Injured in Crash Involving Big Rig on I-15 in Lake Elsinore
Lake Elsinore, California: One person was severely injured in a Lake Elsinore crash involving a sedan and a big rig that happened Saturday morning on southbound Interstate 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 4:24 a.m. near Nichols Road.
CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found a silver sedan and a gray Freightliner involved in the collision.
One person sustained severe injuries, including a broken arm. The victim was taken to Inland Valley Hospital for treatment.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
