2 Airlifted after Head-On Accident on Summit Valley Road in Hesperia
Hesperia, California: Two people were airlifted to the hospital after a head-on collision that took place late Saturday night in Hesperia.
The San Bernardino County Fire said the incident occurred around 11:24 p.m. on Summit Valley Road near Trout Road.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found a white four-door Toyota Corolla and a red Ford Escape SUV involved in the accident.
The firefighters requested two medical helicopters to land at Hesperia Airport and airlift two “immediate” patients.
Summit Valley Road was closed in both directions following the crash.
CHP-Victorville Station is investigating the accident.
