2 CHP Officers Injured in Hesperia Crash on 15 Freeway near Bear Valley Road
Hesperia, California – Two CHP officers were injured in a traffic collision that happened early Saturday morning in Hesperia.
The accident was reported around 4:45 a.m. on the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 Freeway near Bear Valley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The two CHP officers were inside their vehicle parked in the slow lane after responding to a grey Honda Accord sedan that had spun out and hit the concrete wall.
A white Toyota Camry is reported to have crashed into the CHP vehicle as the officers waited for the Honda to be towed away.
Both officers suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Camry was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
