2 Critically Injured in Suspected DUI Accident in South Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona: A man and a woman are receiving treatment at a hospital after they were involved in a suspected DUI collision Friday morning in south Phoenix.
According to police, the crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. near 40th Street and University Drive, south of the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport.
A crossover SUV and a pickup truck were involved in the accident.
A man and a woman were taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the other car, only identified as a man, was arrested by officers after showing signs of impairment.
An investigation is ongoing.
