Florence, Arizona: Two people died when two vehicles collided Saturday night on State Route 79 near Florence, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
The wreck was reported at about 9 p.m. on State Route 79 at milepost 146.
Authorities did not immediately determine what transpired leading to the collision.
Two people died in the accident.
Investigators closed both directions of the highway as they worked the scene.
