2 Hospitalized after Apple Valley Accident on Bear Valley Road
Apple Valley, California: Two people were sent to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley.
Sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene near Jess Ranch Parkway after they received reports of the crash around 11:30 a.m.
An initial investigation revealed that a red Dodge Charger was traveling westbound on Bear Valley Road behind a Dodge Ram towing a small enclosed trailer with tools.
The Charger rear-ended the Ram, sending it into oncoming traffic, where it collided with a Nissan Rogue. An Amazon truck stopped at the scene with minor damage but it was unclear how it was involved in the crash.
The female driver of the Nissan and a passenger in the Charger were hospitalized with unspecified injuries. The driver of the Nissan had reportedly recently undergone heart surgery.
Witnesses told authorities that the driver of the Charger was speeding and cutting off other vehicles prior to the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Sacramento County, California: Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Antelope.
According to the Sacramento Metro Fire District, the accident occurred around 1:50 p.m. at Antelope and Roseville roads.
Three vehicles collided, trapping two occupants in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the victims. The patients were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.

Kenneth Joseph McLeod Killed in Irvine Motorcycle Accident
Irvine, California: 65-year-old Kenneth Joseph McLeod died after he collided with a car while riding a motorcycle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Irvine.
The accident was reported around 4:50 p.m. at Alton Parkway and Foster.
Investigators said McLeod was riding a motorcycle southbound on Alton when he ran a red light at Foster and crashed into a Tesla turning left from northbound Alton onto westbound Foster.
The Tesla had a green light at the time of the crash.
McLeod died at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Woman Hospitalized After Victorville Pedestrian Accident at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road
Woman on Motorized Wheelchair Hit and Injured by Car in Victorville
Victorville, California: A woman riding a motorized wheelchair was injured when she was hit by a car Thursday morning at an intersection in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 8:48 a.m. at Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
Victorville police, firefighters, and AMR responded to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
A man driving a black Nissan was found at the scene but it was not clear if he was the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
