2 Hurt in San Diego Motorcycle Accident Garnet Avenue and Mission Drive

San Diego, California – The San Diego Police Department is investigating a motorcycle collision that injured one person on Sunday morning in Pacific Beach, San Diego.

The accident happened at about 10:45 a.m. at 2700 Garnet Ave near the intersection of Mission Drive.

Police said a man was riding a 2002 Harley Davidson Dyna heading westbound when they crashed into an eastbound 2013 BMW M3 that was turning left.

The male rider, a 39-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.

The motorcycle passenger, a 40-year-old woman, was also transported to the hospital for treatment of an open fracture to her right tibia/fibula.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
