2 Injured in 2-Car Crash at East Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Avenue
Fresno County, California – Two drivers were injured following a traffic crash on Wednesday afternoon near Laton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred a while before 4:00 p.m. at East Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Avenue.
The CHP officials said a gray Honda Civic, and a gray Dodge Ram collided for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medics arrived at the crash site to assist the two drivers who sustained injuries described as severe. The two motorists were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police said both drivers were driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash
The incident remains under investigation.
