Two People Hospitalized after Adelanto Car Crash on Highway 395 at Auburn Avenue

2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 395 in Adelanto

Adelanto, California: Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon near an intersection in Adelanto.

The wreck took place around 12:22 p.m. on Highway 395 at Auburn Avenue.

A 2005 Dodge Neon and a pickup truck pulling a double-decker car hauler trailer were involved in the accident.

San Bernardino County firefighters responded to the scene and found the Neon blocking the roadway, and the pickup truck pulled onto the shoulder of northbound Highway 395.

Two people were taken to the hospital by two ground ambulances with unspecified injuries.

According to a passerby, the Neon was occupied by several people, and two of them were critically hurt.

The pickup truck driver was not hurt and cooperated with investigators.

Investigators closed Highway 395 for about two hours as they worked the scene.
