Two Hospitalized After Sacramento Crash at 5th and L Streets
2 Injured in Crash Involving Sacramento Fire Department Ambulance
Sacramento, California: Two people were hospitalized after a car crash involving a Sacramento Fire Department ambulance that happened Friday afternoon in the downtown area.
The ambulance was responding to a medical emergency at the jail when, around 3 p.m., it collided with a car at 5th and L Streets.
The two crew members in the ambulance assisted a woman driving the other car to get out of the vehicle after the collision.
One crew member and the woman were taken to the hospital. The crew member sustained minor injuries and the woman suffered serious injuries.
The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the collision.
