2 Injured in El Granada Car Crash
San Mateo County, California: Two people were hospitalized when two cars collided, and the force of the impact sent one to a nearby house Saturday morning in El Granada.
According to Cal Fire, the incident was reported just after 9 a.m. at Highway 1 and Medio Avenue.
Authorities said two cars collided under unclear circumstances at the intersection.
One of the vehicles went through a fence and yard and hit a house at Third and Medio avenues. The car did not penetrate the house.
Two persons in the car that hit the house were taken to the hospital, one with major injuries and the other with moderate injuries.
The report did not mention about the number and condition of the occupants in the other vehicle.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
