2 Injured in Head-On Collision in Mesa
Mesa, Arizona: Two people sustained injuries when two vehicles collided head-on Thursday morning north of the Loop 202 Red Mountain in Mesa.
Authorities responded to the scene near Country Club Drive and Lehi Road shortly after the collision that happened around 4:30 a.m.
Investigators learned that a vehicle was traveling south when, for an unknown reason, it jumped the curb and hit a pickup truck head-on. One of the vehicles then struck a third car.
Emergency personnel transported two people to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police officers are collecting more information to establish the cause of the collision.
