Madera, California – Two people were injured in a car crash that happened on Tuesday afternoon in Madera.
The accident was reported at around 1 p.m. on Highway 145 between Storey Road and Road 29, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A GMC pickup truck was attempting to make a U-turn on the highway when it collided with a pickup truck.
The GMC driver suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
A female passenger in the GMC was also hospitalized with moderate injuries.
Authorities say the pickup truck driver was unhurt.
