2 Injured in Motorcycle Accident at Balboa and Viewridge Avenues San Diego
San Diego, California – Two men were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that happened near Kearny Mesa on Tuesday evening.
The accident was reported at around 5:20 p.m. near the intersection of Balboa Avenue and Viewridge Avenue.
The San Diego Police Department says a 61-year-old man was riding a 2003 Harley Davidson when he crashed into an 18-speed road bike operated by a 57-year-old man at the intersection.
Both men were seriously injured in the accident and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Authorities say neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
