2 Injured in Pedestrian Versus Motorcycle Crash in San Diego’s Midway Neighborhood

San Diego, California: A pedestrian and a motorcycle were injured in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday night in San Diego’s Midway neighborhood.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident occurred at about 11:16 p.m. in the 4000 block of Sports Arena Boulevard.

Investigators said a 54-year-old man was walking eastbound mid-block when he reportedly walked in front of a 41-year-old man riding a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle.

The motorcyclist struck the pedestrian and was thrown off his bike, going unconscious.

The pedestrian sustained a fractured left femur and other serious injuries.

The conditions of the patients remained unknown.

Authorities are investigating the collision.
