Rohnert Park, California – One person was seriously injured in a car accident that happened in Rohnert Park early Sunday morning.
The accident was reported at around 2:37 a.m. in the area of Rohnert Park Expressway and Commerce Boulevard, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
A Toyota Tundra pickup truck and a Toyota Scion were involved in the accident.
The driver of the Scion suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital to undergo surgery.
Maria Valencia, 44, was driving the Tundra and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
A man in the Tundra was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
