Sacramento, California – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a car accident on Saturday afternoon in Sacramento.
The accident was reported around 3:14 p.m. near Marconi Avenue and Wright Street, according to the Sacramento Metro Fire Department.
A car was traveling east on Marconi when it ran a red light and collided with another turning left onto the same street.
The car that ran a red light also crashed into a nearby apartment complex.
Both drivers were injured in the accident and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
