Victorville, California – Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Friday morning in Victorville.
The accident was reported around 5:49 a.m. at the intersection of Air Expressway Boulevard and Phantom West.
A gray 2012 Nissan Altima and a silver 2002 Honda Accord collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Firefighters with the Victorville City Fire Department responded to the incident and airlifted one person to an out-of-area trauma center.
A second patient was transported to the hospital by a ground ambulance.
The Victorville Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
