Two Men Die, Two Others Hospitalized After San Luis Obispo Crash at Beach Street and Pismo Street

2 Killed, 2 Injured in Rollover Collision at San Luis Obispo Intersection

San Luis Obispo, California: Two people died, and two others were injured in a rollover collision that happened Wednesday night at an intersection in San Luis Obispo.

The San Luis Obispo Police Department said the accident was reported around 9:30 p.m. at Beach Street and Pismo Street.

According to investigators, three men were in a car traveling southbound on Beach Street at a high rate of speed. The vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and collided with another car heading westbound on Pismo Street.

The speeding car rolled over several times, ejecting two of the three men inside.

The two men were taken to a local hospital where they later died from their injuries. Police said the deceased had not been wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The third man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries.

The woman driving the second vehicle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The collision is under investigation.
