2 Killed in Big Rig Collision in Fresno County
Fresno County, California: Two people died in a semi-truck collision that happened Monday in southeast Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place at Annadale Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.
Investigators said a semi-truck was traveling west on Annadale when the driver started to turn south onto Chestnut.
At that time, a pickup truck heading north slammed into the big rig and got pinned underneath.
A man and a woman in the pickup truck died in the crash.
The semi-truck driver was not injured.
The crash happened during foggy weather in the area.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
