13-Year-Old Boy, 21-Year-Old Woman Killed in Ramona Car Accident on San Vicente Road

2 Killed in Car Crash on San Vincente Road in Ramona
Ramona, California: A driver and juvenile passenger died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Ramona, police said.
The wreck took place around 4:45 p.m. on San Vincente Road near Wildcat Canyon Road.
The California Highway Patrol said a 21-year-old woman was driving a 2007 Toyota Scion TC westbound on San Vincente Road.
At the same time, a 61-year-old woman was driving a 2018 Dodge Durango eastbound on the same road, approaching the Toyota.
For an unknown reason, the Toyota drifted into the eastbound lane, and the front of the Dodge collided with the right passenger door of the Toyota.
The 21-year-old woman and her front seat passenger, a 13-year-old boy, died in the accident.
The 61-year-old woman was hospitalized with minor injuries.
All victims were residents of Ramona.
Investigators did not immediate determine what caused the collision but said the roadway was wet from rain.
