2 Killed in Castle Rock Crash on 5 Freeway

Castle Rock, Washington – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened near Castle Rock on Friday morning.

The fatal collision was reported at around 2:45 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Exit 49.

A 2006 Ford Ranger was allegedly traveling the wrong way on the freeway when it crashed into a 2013 Ford Escape that was traveling northbound.

A 2014 Subaru Impreza and a 1996 Honda Accord were involved in the collision.

The 22-year-old driver of the Ford Ranger and the 41-year-old driver of the Ford Escape were killed in the accident.

The driver of the Impreza was transported to Peace Health St. John Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the Ford Escape was unhurt.
