Oroville, California – Two people were killed in a fiery car crash that happened in Butte County on Sunday.

The double-fatal collision happened on Highway 149 near Highway 99, according to the California Highway Patrol Oroville division.

A car was traveling southbound when it drifted across the center median and collided head-on with a northbound truck. One of the vehicles caught fire after the collision.

The driver and a passenger in the truck were killed in the crash.

The car driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
