Gilroy, California – Two people were killed in a head-on collision early Monday morning in Gilroy.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 25 near Bloomfield Avenue at around 12:30 a.m.
A 24-year-old man was driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra southbound on Highway 25 when she swerved into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2012 Dodge Charger driven by a 35-year-old woman.
Both drivers were killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
