2 Killed in Graton Crash on State Route 116 and Sonoma Avenue
Graton, California – Two people were killed in a head-on collision early Saturday morning in Graton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 12:11 a.m. near State Route 116 and Sonoma Avenue.
A Mitsubishi 3000GT was traveling eastbound on SR-116 at an unknown speed when it swerved into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Toyota 4-Runner.
The male driver of the Mitsubishi and his female passenger died at the accident scene.
The driver of the Toyota and a male passenger of the Mitsubishi sustained severe injuries and were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
