Lancaster, California: Two people died, and another was hospitalized in critical condition after a head-on collision that happened Saturday night in Lancaster.
Authorities said the accident was reported around 11:15 p.m. near 185th Street East and East Avenue J.
A white Chevy Malibu and a gray/silver Honda Accord collided head-on under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel pronounced two people dead at the scene.
A third person was hospitalized at Antelope Valley Hospital in critical condition.
Authorities are investigating the wreck.
