2 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road near Mojave

Mojave, California: Two people died in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Wednesday morning near Mojave, authorities said.

California Highway Patrol Mojave area officers responded to Tehachapi Willow Springs Road just north of Oak Creek Road around 7:25 a.m. after they were notified about the collision.

A 27-year-old driver of a Ford F-550 was heading southbound on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road when they collided with a 51-year-old man traveling northbound on the same road in a GMC 3500.

The GMC was then hit by a Honda CRV and a Chevrolet 2500 that were heading northbound behind it.

The driver and passenger in the Honda CRV died in the accident.

CHP Mojave Office is investigating the collision.
