North Highlands, Calif. – Two people were killed in a car crash that left two other people injured in North Highlands on Sunday afternoon.
The accident was reported around 3:33 p.m. at Andrea and Elkhorn Boulevards, according to the Sacramento Metro Fire.
Police say a vehicle swerved suddenly and hit another on the highway.
Two people were killed in the accident.
Two others were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
