Phoenix, Arizona – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash early Thursday morning in Phoenix.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred on Interstate 17 near Bethany Home Road.
Police say thermal cameras detected a wrong-way driver who collided with an oncoming vehicle shortly after.
The wrong-way driver was killed in the crash.
A passenger in the other vehicle was also killed.
