Sacramento, California – Two people were killed in a head-on collision early Saturday morning in Sacramento.
The crash happened around 12:15 p.m. on Highway 160 at Sherman Island Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man was driving a gray Nissan SUV southbound on Highway 160 when he drifted into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a silver Lexus SUV.
The driver of the Nissan and a passenger were killed in the accident.
The Lexus driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Two juvenile passengers were also hospitalized with unknown injuries.
