2 Killed in San Mateo County Crash on SR 84 near Peek-A-Boo Lane
San Mateo County, California (September 1, 2023) – Two people were killed in a car crash on Friday evening in San Mateo County.
The deadly collision was reported around 5:10 p.m. on Highway 84, just east of Peek-A-Boo Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man was driving a white BMW when he collided head-on with a Ford Taurus on a blind curve.
Three occupants of the Ford were transported to Stanford Medical Center where one person died.
Another passenger of the Ford died at the accident scene.
The driver of the BMW was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
