Santa Fe Springs, California – Two people were killed in a suspected DUI car crash on Tuesday morning in Santa Fe Springs.
The fatal collision was reported around 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 5 Freeway at the Carmenita Road exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Honda crashed into a big rig that was stopped on the side of the freeway.
Two passengers in the car were killed in the accident.
The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
