2 Killed in Spokane Crash on I-90 Freeway near Second Avenue
Spokane, Washington – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash on Thursday morning in Spokane.
The fatal collision was reported around 2:30 a.m. on the westbound lanes of I-90 near Second Avenue, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A 24-year-old woman was driving a car eastbound in westbound lanes when she collided head-on with a car driven by a 59-year-old man.
Both drivers were killed in the accident.
The names of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
