2 Killed in Winchester Car Crash Identified
Winchester, California: 25-year-old Israel Bermudez of Buena Park and 32-year-old Paloma Casares of Hemet were the two people killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in Winchester, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office said.
The crash happened around 11:40 a.m. at Domegoni Parkway and Leon Road.
Two cars with a total of five occupants collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
Bermudez and Casares were pronounced dead at the scene about 20 minutes after the accident.
Two other victims were hospitalized with moderate injuries and a fifth victim was not hospitalized.
Eastbound Domenigoni Parkway remained closed for several hours following the collision.
