2 Men Dead after Semi-Truck Crash at Highway 33 and Manning in Fresno

Fresno, California – One person was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck early Tuesday morning near Mendota in Fresno County.

At around 5 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a car crash at Highway 33 and Manning Avenue.

A car was traveling westbound on Manning Avenue and collided with a semi-truck traveling north on Highway 33.

The impact of the crash pushed the car for nearly 100 yards.

The male driver of the car and a male passenger were killed in the accident. Their names were not immediately disclosed.

Another passenger was airlifted to the hospital with major injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
