2 Men Killed in Suspected DUI Accident in Reedley
Fresno County, California: Two men died in a suspected DUI accident that happened Saturday night at an intersection in Reedley, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident took place just before 7 p.m. at Englehart and Manning avenues.
According to investigators, a Chevrolet Impala was traveling southbound on Englehart, approaching a stop sign at Manning and a Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading westbound on Manning. The Impala failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with the truck.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the Chevrolet driver and the right-front passenger dead at the scene. Authorities said they were both men in their 30s.
The Ford driver and two passengers suffered minor injuries.
Investigators said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
