Man and Woman Killed in Los Angeles Amtrak Train Accident near Woodman Avenue and Saticoy Street

2 Pedestrians Hit and Killed by Amtrak Train in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California: Two people died after they were struck by an Amtrak Pacific Train Sunday night in the Los Angeles’ Van Nuys neighborhood.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Woodman Avenue between Saticoy Street and Woodman Place.
A man and a woman were hit by the southbound train under unclear circumstances.
Both pedestrians were pronounced dead at the scene. They are believed to be about 35 years old.
All occupants on the train did not need medical attention.
An investigation is ongoing.
