2 People Hospitalized After Car Collision on Business 80 in Sacramento
Sacramento, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Thursday morning on Business 80 in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred around 6:16 a.m. near the E Street off-ramp
A car hit another vehicle from the rear for an unknown reason.
One of the vehicles was sent by the force of the impact into the center divide and then off the road headfirst into a tree.
At least two people got trapped inside the car.
Responding emergency personnel extricated the victims – a man and a woman – and transported them to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other details were given but an investigation is ongoing.
