Scotts Valley, California: Two people died in a traffic crash that happened Wednesday afternoon on Mount Hermon Road in Scotts Valley.
Police said the accident was reported at about 4:50 p.m. near Skypark Drive.
At least two cars collided for an unknown reason.
Two people in one vehicle, a male and a female, died in the accident, the report said.
Investigators closed Mount Hermon Road in both directions between Skypark Drive and Lockhart Gulch Drive as they worked the scene.
